Terms of service
Last updated 2026-10-07
These terms cover your use of Pastefront, the service at pastefront.com that builds a store from a product link, hosts it and helps you run it. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Pastefront.
In these terms, “Pastefront”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of pastefront.com; “you” means the person who signs up and runs a store; “buyers” are the people who shop at your store.
A US-only beta
Pastefront is in beta. Features change, some are not finished, and things can break. It is offered only to people and businesses in the United States, and stores ship only to US addresses. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
Who sells what
You are the seller and the merchant of record for everything sold in your store. Your store's name, prices, policies and contact details are yours, and so are your obligations to buyers, including refunds, returns, customer service, consumer-protection rules and sales tax.
Pastefront provides the tools: the store builder, hosting at <your-store>.pastefront.com, the dashboard, and the connection to the supplier. We are not a party to the sale between you and a buyer.
Checkout and payments
Buyers pay through your own Stripe account, which you connect from the dashboard and which is governed by Stripe's own agreement with you. Stripe's processing fees come out of your sales, and refunds, disputes and chargebacks are charged to your Stripe balance. Pastefront never holds your sales money.
For products from CJ Dropshipping, Pastefront places the order with CJ and pays CJ for it. To cover that, each sale of a CJ product carries an application fee, collected by Stripe from the sale, equal to the supplier's cost and shipping for that order. What remains after Stripe's fees is paid out to you. A price below that cost and shipping can't be used at checkout. If you refund a CJ sale in full before Pastefront has paid CJ for it, the supplier cost collected is returned to your Stripe balance; once CJ has been paid, it is not.
Print-on-demand products made through Printify work the same way: Pastefront orders them from Printify and pays for them from the same kind of application fee, which is returned on a full refund only until the order has gone to production. For these products the fee is Printify's production cost plus 25%, which Pastefront keeps, and Printify's shipping. Each import tells you your cost, and the product starts as a draft. You confirm that you own, or may use, every design you upload, and you're responsible for it.
You can instead connect your own Printify account to a store. Products you then make are created in your Printify shop, Pastefront places their orders there and sends them to production as soon as they are paid, and Printify charges your Printify account for them under Printify's own terms with you. Pastefront collects no supplier cost and takes no margin on those sales; making each product costs credits instead. Orders already placed in your Printify shop are yours to manage there, including cancelling one after a refund.
For products from AliExpress, you place and pay for the order with the supplier yourself. Pastefront shows you what to order but does not buy it for you.
Credits and plans
- Credits pay for AI and supplier work, such as building a store, importing a product or a chat edit. They are prepaid and non-refundable, except that when an action fails, the credits it used come back to your balance. If we refund a purchase, the credits it bought are taken back.
- Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or sold.
- Your first store build is free. Taking orders needs a paid plan, and the plan covers keeping your stores running: there is no setup fee and no per-store charge on top of it.
- Plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel any time; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, and we don't refund partial months.
- If a payment fails or a plan ends, live stores get a 3-day grace period. After that they go back to preview: the store stays in your dashboard, but buyers can no longer check out. The same happens to the newest live stores when you have more live stores than your plan includes.
- Prices are on the pricing page. We may change them with notice; a change applies from your next billing period.
What you may sell
Don't sell anything illegal, unsafe or restricted. Pastefront blocks some products before you spend any credits on them, including weapons, drugs, cannabis and CBD, tobacco and vapes, supplements and products that make health claims, adult products, branded or look-alike goods, hazardous items, and children's products that need safety certification. Stripe's list of restricted and prohibited businesses also applies. A product getting past the automatic check doesn't make it allowed.
Your store's content
Pastefront uses AI to write and lay out your store from the supplier's listing. AI can get things wrong: it may misdescribe a product, its size, materials or what it does. You are responsible for reviewing everything in your store before it goes live and while it is live, and for what it says to buyers.
Don't publish fake reviews, invented ratings, made-up testimonials, false urgency (fake countdowns, fake “only 2 left”), or claims you can't back up. Pastefront's builder is designed not to produce these; don't add them yourself.
You keep the rights you have in your store's content and give Pastefront permission to host, display and process it to run the service. Don't use content you don't have the right to use.
No guarantees of sales or delivery
Pastefront does not promise that your store will make sales, income or profit. Delivery times shown in the dashboard or on a store are estimates from the supplier and the carrier, not promises, and suppliers can run out of stock, change prices or ship late.
Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or take offline a store, or close an account, that breaks these terms, sells prohibited products, misleads buyers, receives a high rate of disputes, or puts Pastefront, Stripe, suppliers or buyers at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you why first. You can stop using Pastefront and ask us to close your account at any time by writing to us.
Limitation of liability
Pastefront is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Pastefront is not liable for lost sales, lost profits, lost data or indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Pastefront in the 12 months before the claim.
You agree to cover Pastefront for claims by buyers or others that arise from your store, your products or your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Using Pastefront after that means you accept the new terms.
